The anticipated and first APERIO GoldenSound Signature Edition (GSE) in Limited Edition Black finally made it into the hands of Thomas Scharfenberg at Audio Essence, Switzerland this week. And what a moment it was.
Thomas has completed a very in-depth review of the APERIO GSE, touching upon his mission, impressions, his experiences with difference genre of music, and most importantly, his final verdict. Is this the pinnacle in headphone systems?

The Aperio from Warwick Acoustics is not just a headphone. It is a complete hi-fi system that gives the term reference tuning a new meaning, or rather redefines it in the headphone sector. The Aperio system can do what only some of the best stereo systems can: It lets the listener immerse themselves in the music and experience it "live." I can't think of much more to say here, and I can't really summarize more either, because you have to try the Aperio system yourself, experience it yourself, convince yourself.
