The Gadgeteer has taken a deep look at what we've built for automotive audio, and the headline says it all: Speakers just 1mm thick that make a cabin sound ten times bigger. That's not a marketing claim pulled from thin air. It comes down to the physics of electrostatic technology. Where conventional speakers push a cone back and forth to produce sound, our ultra-thin diaphragm generates near-planar sound waves that the brain perceives as originating from up to 30 metres away. The result is a soundstage that simply doesn't feel possible inside a car. Our first production vehicle partnership with a global luxury automaker is on the way later this year.
