Sonoma Acoustics Heads to the L.a. Audio Show With Its Model One Armed With Two Positive Reviews by Chris Martens and Tyll Hertsens
Sonoma Acoustics is heading to the L.A. Audio Show with its Model One (M1) Electrostatic Headphone System bolstered by positive reviews by two well-known industry critics—Chris Martens of Hi-Fi+ (read review here) and Tyll Hertsens of Innerfidelity (read review here).
“There are a lot of anecdotal reports of the sonic quality of the Model One on the internet but these are the first two in-depth reviews by highly-respected audio critics,” said David Kawakami, GM, Sonoma Acoustics.
At the L.A. Audio Show, which is scheduled for June 2-4, 2017 at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel close to LAX, Sonoma Acoustics will be showing the Model One at Booth 110 in the HeadGear area. “We’re also very pleased to have Moon Audio (HeadGear 121), The Cable Company (Foyer 178) and Acoustic Sounds (Marketplace) showing the M1 in their booths,” David Kawakami said. The Model One is the world’s first high-end headphone to utilize the High Precision Electrostatic Laminate (HPEL) transducer developed by Warwick Audio Technologies in the UK. Sonoma Acoustics is a new start-up founded by key members of the SACD project who were responsible for the development of the SonomaTM Digital Audio Workstation, the world’s first DSD recorder/editor.
